The guerrilla showdown between the villagers and the Klatooinians’ Imperial relic reminds us how hopelessly outclassed most planets in the Empire’s path must have been. If the plan goes through, front offices may have more complicated decisions on the open market than usual. Why would a settlement in the “middle of nowhere” be a better place to go to ground than anywhere else on the planet? Like its protagonist, The Mandalorian doesn’t volunteer information freely. I also loved the character of Cara Dune, who gives the Mandalorian an equal with regards to their skill set along with parallel (but equally compelling) reasons for her disillusionment in the current state of the galaxy.
